In-Home Health Assistance in Vero Beach, FL

A Nurses Touch Healthcare, Inc. utilizes independently-contracted CNAs and HHAs who are licensed and experienced. They can help you with daily tasks ranging from bathing and toileting to medication reminders to wheelchair transfers and meals.

What is a CNA/HHA?

If you are recovering at home and need or want someone to sit with you during the night or day, our caregivers will do that and will keep you comfortable.

A CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, and an HHA, Home Health Aide, knows how to recognize basic signs of illnesses and emergency situations. CNAs/HHAs are trained to measure blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature. They know how to help you walk safely and to assist you with wheelchair transfers. CNAs/HHAs also know how to assist with grooming, toileting, bathing, and dressing. If you have trouble swallowing or have other issues with eating, they can help you eat safely.

Our CNAs/HHAs go a step further and do their best to put a smile on your face every day with their optimism and encouragement. In Florida, CNAs/HHAs are required to attend state-approved training classes, pass a test, and go through a rigorous background check.

At A Nurse's Touch Healthcare, we understand that people prefer the comfort of home and familiar routines, and people in need of assistance are no different. Our home health care program allows you or your loved one to receive assistance from professional, licensed, and insured CNAs and HHAs while maintaining familiar surroundings in Vero Beach, FL.

In-home health care is extremely flexible. It can resemble independent or assisted living, or it can resemble a nursing home in terms of the degree of care. Home care can be as simple as a friend to provide you with company and emotional support. However, it can also involve increasing degrees of support to you or your loved one.

Our CNAs and HHAs are prepared to not only be your companion and advocate but also your personal care assistant. They can help you with housekeeping tasks such as laundry and groceries, hygiene tasks such as bathing and toileting, or other essential tasks such as eating and transportation. Our CNAs and HHAs will also remind you to take your medication.

If you or your loved one needs more advanced in-home care, we also have skilled nurses on staff
